The Xuzhou Gulou High-Tech Zone covers a planned area of approximately 8.5 square kilometers, bounded by the Jinpu Railway to the east, Mahong Road to the west, Jingmahe South Road to the south, and North Third Ring Road to the north.With the goal of building an international, distinctive, and high-end industrial cluster, the zone is focused on cultivating and developing sectors such as next-generation information technology applications (with a focus on cloud computing and big data), platform-based economies (with a focus on cross-border e-commerce and software and services outsourcing), and smart industries (with a focus on industrial internet and intelligent robotics). It aims to become a provincial-level high-tech zone by attracting a number of flagship and base-type high-tech industries, as well as specialized park projects in strategic emerging industries.
