The Yangzhou Food Industry Park is located in the southeastern part of downtown Yangzhou. With a total planned area of 10 square kilometers, the first phase covers 2.8 square kilometers, and the initial development phase spans 1.8 square kilometers. The park is adjacent to the Ningtong Expressway and situated at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Grand Canal, just 5 kilometers from Yangzhou Port, a national Class I port open to foreign trade. It is the only modern food industry cluster in Jiangsu Province that integrates food processing, manufacturing, distribution, and research and development.
The Food Industrial Park is fully equipped with supporting facilities including water, electricity, gas, heating, sewage disposal, and telecommunications, meeting the high standards of “nine utilities and one leveling,” and is fully prepared to accommodate new projects.In accordance with the design requirements of being “national-level, eco-friendly, and landscaped,” the park has constructed green belts, ecological riverbanks, and waterfront platforms to high standards. It is managed and inspected based on the criteria for industry-specific eco-industrial parks, striving to create a food industrial park nestled amidst lush greenery.
