Park Overview
The Suqian Industrial Park is a new industrial park jointly established through close cooperation between the cities of Suzhou and Suqian, and represents the most significant collaborative project between the two municipal governments. The park has a total planned area of 13.6 square kilometers, bounded by Weimin River to the east, Jiuzhi Canal to the west, Zahe Irrigation Main Canal to the north, and Gucheng Road and Xihu West Road to the south. Within this area, the section east of Tonghu Avenue is designated as the Modern New City Demonstration Zone, while the section to the west is designated as the Industrial Zone. Our development goals are: to fully leverage the strengths of both Suzhou and Suqian, promote the gradual transfer of industries, and, through the comprehensive development of urban functions such as advanced manufacturing and services, build the Suzhou-Suqian Industrial Park into a hub for industrial relocation, a pioneer zone for export-driven growth, a pilot zone for institutional innovation, and a demonstration zone for modern new cities. We will actively innovate development mechanisms, expand the scope of North-South cooperation, and strive to explore best practices and set an example for North-South cooperation and the realization of shared regional development.
