Taizhou City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, is one of the central cities of the Yangtze River Delta and a third-tier city. It is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, between latitude 32°01′57″~33°10′59″N and longitude 119°38′24″~120°32′20″E, bordering the Yangtze River in the south, Yancheng City in the north, Nantong City in the east, and Yangzhou City in the west, with a total area of 5,787.98 square kilometers. As of the end of 2022, Taizhou City had a resident population of 4,505,600, with an urbanization rate of 69.24%. As of March 2023, Taizhou City has three districts and three county-level cities under its jurisdiction, with the municipal people's government stationed at No. 58, Phoenix East Road, Hailing District.
