The Hebei Kangbao Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level economic development zone established in 2012 with the approval of the Hebei Provincial People’s Government. It has a planned area of 12.6 square kilometers and a built-up area of 3.8 square kilometers. The development zone is located south of Kangbao County and lies in the Bashang region in the northernmost part of Hebei Province, where wind and solar energy resources are abundant.Leveraging the advantages of Kangbao’s “National Wind, Solar, Storage, and Transmission Demonstration Base,” the development zone focuses on developing the new energy equipment manufacturing and green agricultural product processing industries.
