The Guyuan County Economic Development Zone in Hebei Province was established in 2010 and was approved as a provincial-level economic development zone by the Hebei Provincial People’s Government in October 2012.The Guyuan Economic Development Zone is currently planned according to the “2010 Plan,” which includes an Industrial Processing Park (north of the county seat), a Commerce and Logistics Park (south of the county seat), a Coal Logistics Park (Jiuliancheng area), a Specialty Agricultural and Livestock Products Processing Park (Xiaochang area), and a Miscellaneous Grains Processing and Commerce Park (Xixinying area), with a total planned area of 13.77 square kilometers.
