Since the beginning of 2023, the Guigang Municipal Bureau of Big Data Development and Government Affairs has focused on the digital transformation needs of enterprises and has been actively advancing the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Hub. Guided by performance indicators, the bureau has rigorously implemented various targets and achieved new progress in areas such as monitoring key digital economy enterprises, attracting and nurturing digital economy enterprises, and creating digital application scenarios for ASEAN countries.

Accelerating the construction of the China-ASEAN Information Hub to help Guigang’s digital economy reach new heights.

First, in collaboration with relevant competent authorities, the bureau conducted in-depth visits and surveys of enterprises. By focusing on their digital transformation needs, the bureau gained insights into their production and operations, product structures, and market conditions, while identifying the challenges and pain points of their digital transformation. The bureau strongly supported digital economy enterprises on the verge of meeting scale criteria to achieve compliance, resulting in the cultivation of 7 new digital economy enterprises meeting scale criteria within the year—exceeding the target by 4.Second, leveraging the advantages of industrial clusters and seizing the window of opportunity presented by the digital dividend, we proactively assisted four enterprises—Guangxi Aima Vehicle Industry Co., Ltd., Guangxi Guigang Oupai Electric Vehicle Co., Ltd., Guangxi Yibisheng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangxi Guohong Zhihong Environmental Technology Group Co., Ltd.—in establishing digital application scenarios in ASEAN countries and exporting digital products, thereby achieving a win-win outcome for both sides.

Vigorously advancing the construction of Digital Guangxi, the “new model” for digital economic development in Gangbei has achieved new breakthroughs.

First, by focusing on strategic emerging industries, we are vigorously building a 100-billion-yuan new energy electric vehicle industrial cluster. We have organized electric vehicle enterprises to participate in the Guangxi New Energy Electric (Three-Wheeled) Vehicles and Parts Expo year after year, and regularly convened the China-ASEAN Expo New Energy Electric Vehicle Industry Development Summit Forum, thereby establishing a hub for the new energy electric vehicle industry and brands in Southwest and South China.Second, we are promoting the “Digital + Agriculture” model. By adapting rural industries to local conditions and leveraging the establishment of “High-Standard Farmland + Smart Farmland” demonstration zones, we are using big data, 3S technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT) to achieve intelligent “one-map” management of rice-shrimp farming fields—enabling a single person to manage 10,000 mu of prime farmland. This has significantly improved production efficiency and product quality, and has begun to establish the “Good Lobsters, Produced in Guigang” brand.Third, we have adopted a collaborative partnership model to drive the digital transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. Through a collaborative partnership involving “leading enterprises + village collective shareholding cooperatives + households that have escaped poverty,” we have leveraged the advantages of the Guizhou-style pig and Xijiang cattle industrial clusters to drive the development of related industries such as animal husbandry, forage and feed cultivation, transportation, dairy machinery manufacturing, packaging and printing, and retail. This has strengthened infrastructure support capabilities and improved the capacity of digital social security to serve the people’s livelihood.The project has been recognized as a key demonstration project in the third batch of "Digital Guangxi" benchmark initiatives, marking the entry of digital industrialization and industrial digitalization into a fast-track development phase.

We are vigorously establishing the Guigang branch centers for (Huawei) Artificial Intelligence and the Kunpeng Ecosystem to provide new support for corporate digital transformation platforms.

First, formulate construction plans for the China-ASEAN (Huawei) Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center and the Guigang Branch of the China-ASEAN Information Port Kunpeng Ecosystem Innovation Center; finalize the site selection for the innovation centers and proceed with the renovation of the premises. Second, leverage the platform advantages of the branch centers to assist local enterprises in applying to higher authorities for policy support, ecosystem certification, technical support, training services, and subsidy funding.Third, organize specialized symposiums on digital transformation, inviting representative enterprises from the primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors to participate. Simultaneously, invite experts from the autonomous region to visit Guigang to provide guidance, address pain points and challenges encountered by enterprises during their digital transformation, promote the integration of industrial chain resources and data sharing, and assist small and medium-sized enterprises in achieving “chain-based” transformation.
