A national-level economic and technological development zone established in 2013 with the approval of the State Council, it is located in the Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone of Chongqing Municipality and covers a planned area of 45 square kilometers. The zone focuses on developing industries such as new materials, new energy, equipment manufacturing, and fine chemicals. It is home to leading enterprises including Enjet Co., Ltd., the Wansheng Base of Chongqing Iron and Steel Group, and Wansheng Coal Chemical. The zone is adjacent to the G75 Lanhai Expressway and the Wansheng Station of the Chongqing-Guiyang Railway, offering convenient transportation access.By 2025, the zone aims to achieve a total industrial output value exceeding 78 billion yuan, with the new materials industry cluster alone surpassing 36 billion yuan. Supporting facilities include the Wansheng Comprehensive Bonded Zone, technology business incubators, a Grade A tertiary hospital, and talent apartments.
