Park Overview
The Fengdu Industrial Park is a municipal-level specialized industrial park established in 2003 with the approval of the municipal government. In 2009, it was designated as the Fengdu County Three Gorges Reservoir Area Resettlement Ecological Industrial Park; in 2011, it was designated as a key hub for the phased transfer of processing trade in Fengdu; in 2022, it was designated as a municipal-level demonstration park for agricultural product processing; and in 2024, it was named one of the “Top Ten Parks” for high-quality development in food and agricultural product processing at the municipal level.In 2024, the park achieved a total industrial output value of 10.363 billion yuan.Currently, the park is home to 111 industrial enterprises, including 28 enterprises above designated size. Among them are 14 high-tech enterprises, such as Jinlai Electronics and Longjing Paper, and 70 technology-based enterprises, including Hengdu Food, Shangkun Medical, and Xianwei Technology. Hengdu Agricultural Group Co., Ltd. and Dongfang Hope Chongqing Cement Co., Ltd. have been listed on the “Top 100 Private Enterprises in Chongqing” and the “Top 100 Private Manufacturing Enterprises in Chongqing," respectively. In the future, the park will closely align with Chongqing’s “33618” modern manufacturing industrial cluster system, leveraging local resource endowments and industrial foundations to build a “2 (Leading) + 3 (Specialized)” new industrial system. This comprises two leading industries—50-billion-yuan advanced materials and 30-billion-yuan food and agricultural product processing—as well as three specialized industries: 10-billion-yuan new energy,50-billion-yuan consumer goods manufacturing, and 50-billion-yuan electronics, medical devices, and modern traditional Chinese medicine.
Fengdu Industrial Park has a planned area of 9.08 square kilometers and a developed area of 6.76 square kilometers. Specifically: the Shuitianping Cluster is located in Shuitianping, Xingyi Town, on the south bank of the Yangtze River, with a planned area of 4.76 square kilometers and a developed area of 3.5 square kilometers, situated 3 kilometers from the county seat;The Zhenjiang Cluster is located in Du Jiaba, Mingshan Subdistrict, Zhenjiang Town, on the north bank of the Yangtze River, facing the Shuitianping Cluster across the river. It has a planned area of 1.52 square kilometers and a developed area of 1.1 square kilometers, situated 5 kilometers from the county seat by water and 10 kilometers by land;The Yuxi Cluster is situated in Longkong Town and Gaojia Town on the south bank of the Yangtze River. It has a planned area of 1.96 square kilometers, with 1.32 square kilometers already developed, and is 18 kilometers from the county seat; The Zhanpu Cluster is located in Zhanpu Town on the south bank of the Yangtze River. It has a planned area of 0.84 square kilometers, with 0.84 square kilometers already developed, and is 13 kilometers from the county seat.
