Park Overview
The Yushan Economic Development Zone was expanded from the Yushan Industrial Park, which was approved for construction by the municipal government in 2002. In October 2010, it was officially approved by the provincial government to be established as a provincial-level development zone. The park has a planned area of 33 square kilometers and a built-up area of 10.2 square kilometers. It currently comprises five functional zones: the Yushan Industrial Park, the Santai Entrepreneurship Park, the Binjiang Huicui Mingdi Building Economy Zone, the South Section of Caishi River, and the New District. It serves as the main hub for economic development in Yushan District and the driving force behind the district’s industrial growth. It has received more than 20 honorary titles, including “National Model Park for Harmonious Labor Relations,” “National-Level Recycling Resource Distribution Market,” “National 863 Program New Materials Industrialization Base,” “Provincial-Level Modern Service Industry Cluster,” “Provincial-Level Cultural Industry Demonstration Base,” “Provincial-Level Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator,” and “Provincial-Level New Industrialization Demonstration Base.”
By focusing investment promotion efforts on upstream and downstream suppliers and supporting enterprises of leading companies, the zone has transitioned from attracting individual projects to attracting entire industrial chains, and from scattered projects to industrial clusters. It has gradually developed three major leading industrial clusters: electronic information, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and energy conservation and environmental protection. The park is home to more than 760 registered enterprises, both domestic and foreign, including 80 industrial enterprises above designated size, 22 national high-tech enterprises, and 9 listed companies. The three major leading industrial clusters—intelligent equipment manufacturing, electronic information, and energy conservation and environmental protection—have begun to take shape.
