Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park
The Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park serves as an incubation and industrial acceleration platform with a comprehensive innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, established by the Fudan University Ningbo Research Institute. Since its opening in June 2017, the park has focused on two core strategic objectives: “promoting the industrialization of major scientific and technological achievements” and “supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among high-level talent.” Through three key initiatives—“diversified innovation platforms, multi-tiered technology finance, and specialized industrial services”—the park is actively building a technology startup park with strong competitiveness and international influence.The park currently offers approximately 20,000 square meters of incubation space, including R&D offices and pilot production workshops. It is home to 63 incubated enterprises and has graduated 24 companies, becoming a vital force in driving the integration, development, and innovation of the Yangtze River Delta’s integrated innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

To date, the park has attracted over 100 high-level and scientific research professionals, including 8 nationally recognized key talents, and has hosted more than 120 outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship projects. Total investment in innovation and entrepreneurship has reached 1 billion yuan, with an occupancy rate exceeding 95%. “In 2020 alone, the park added 42 new technology-based enterprises, secured a total of 95 authorized patents and software copyrights, and recruited one nationally recognized key talent,” said the head of the Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park.

Moving forward, the Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Technology Innovation Park will focus on three major industries—life sciences and health, intelligent manufacturing, and green technology—to specialize, deepen, and refine its operations. By leveraging key elements such as technology platforms, professional services, and technology capital, the park aims to establish an innovation and entrepreneurship industrial ecosystem where large-scale projects reach for the sky, small-scale projects spread far and wide, and projects of all sizes develop in synergy.At the same time, to support the Science and Technology Innovation Park in better serving the New District’s innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, the New District will allocate an additional 25,000 square meters of incubation and pilot production space to the Fudan Science and Technology Innovation Park, building upon the existing spatial resources of the mass entrepreneurship and innovation park.
