Dasi Town, belonging to Xiqing District of Tianjin, is located in the southwest of Tianjin and the east of Xiqing District, adjacent to Jinnan District in the east, Wang Jianzhuang Town in the south, Jingwu Town in the west, and Liqizhuang Street in the north by the Outer Ring Road, with a total area of 78.36 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dasi Town had a household population of 44,366.
During the Western Han Dynasty, the territory of the current Dasi Township belonged to Dongpingshu County, Bohai County; in December 1995, it was changed from Dasi Township to Dasi Township.
