Hexi District, belonging to Tianjin, is one of the central urban areas of Tianjin and the seat of the Party, government and military organs of Tianjin. It is located in the southeastern part of Tianjin. It is bordered by the Haihe River and Hedong District in the east, Nankai District and Xiqing District in the west, Jinnan District in the south, and Heping District in the north, with a total area of 42.21 square kilometers.In 2022, Hexi District had a resident population of 803,700 people and a household population of 952,200 people.
