Dafang Town is subordinate to Baoshan District of Shanghai, located in the northern suburb of Shanghai and southwest of Baoshan District, neighboring Pengpu Town of Zhabei District and Dafang Airport in the east, bordering with Putuo District in the south, Taopu Town of Putuo District and Baoshan City Industrial Park in the west, and bounded by hippocampus in the north with a total area of 27.22 sq. kilometers.At the end of 2014, there were 56,607 households with a population of 151,966 people.
