Yinan County, belonging to Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the central part of Shandong Province and the north-central part of Linyi City. It is adjacent to Ju County of Rizhao City in the east, Mengyin County in the west, downtown in the south, and Yishui County in the north. It lies between latitude 35°18′26″-35°46′15″ north and longitude 118°6′36″-118°43′31″ east, with a total area of 1,719 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Yinan County has 1 street, 13 towns, and 1 township. As of the end of 2022, Yinan County had a resident population of 791,900 people. Yinan is an ancient part of Langya Yangdu, the birthplace and ancestral home of Zhuge Liang and Yan Zhenqing.
