Local Town, belonging to Pingyi County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeastern part of Pingyi County, bordering Fei County to the east, Zhengcheng Town to the south, Tongshi Town to the west, and Bianqiao Town to the north, with an area of 143.14 square kilometers in the administrative region. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of the local town was 85,608. During the Qing Dynasty, the territory was divided into Fei County, a district of Zhuangshang She and Xin'an She; in 1985, the district was withdrawn to set up the local town; in December 2000, Tianbao Town was incorporated. As of June 2020, Local Town has 62 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2019, the local town has 114 industrial enterprises, including 20 above scale, and 136 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
