The Tianfu Traditional Chinese Medicine City Incubation Park is a state-backed industrial park jointly invested in, constructed, and operated by Chengdu Petrochemical Base Company—a subsidiary of Chengdu Industrial Investment Group—and Pengzhou City. Located in the core initial development zone of Tianfu Traditional Chinese Medicine City, the currently operational Phase I project represents a total investment of 308 million yuan. It covers an area of 117 mu (approximately 7.8 hectares) and features a total floor area of about 82,000 square meters, comprising eight production facilities, two R&D facilities, and one multi-purpose building.By leveraging the "Two Maps and One Table" for industrial recruitment, the park has prioritized enterprises that strengthen or complement the industrial chain as its recruitment targets. To date, 11 companies have been attracted to the park, including Qianpu Qianwei Pharmaceutical, Cirun Medical, Insight Incubator, and Zhongke Pengzhou. Among them, Insight Incubator has successfully incubated and registered 7 companies,while Zhongke Pengzhou has successfully incubated and registered 6 enterprises, creating a positive cycle of “attracting investment through existing investments.” The park is committed to establishing itself as a spatial platform for the high-quality development of Pengzhou’s traditional Chinese medicine industry.
Tianfu Traditional Chinese Medicine City Phase II: Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2022. With a total investment of 520 million yuan and covering 70 mu (approximately 4.7 hectares), the project will add 110,000 square meters of floor area and is positioned as a high-quality innovation and entrepreneurship space.The complex will include one commercial office building, one residential support building, two R&D facilities, and two production facilities. The project aims to improve public service platforms, provide shared R&D spaces, shared office and residential support facilities, and create a livable and work-friendly environment for high-caliber talent. Based on the industrial development logic of “research, production, and trade,” it will integrate the functionalities of Phase I of the Tianfu Traditional Chinese Medicine City Incubation Park to build a comprehensive service park covering the entire industrial chain.
