The Luzhou High-Tech Zone Pharmaceutical Industrial Park was officially established in 2013. As one of the core zones within the Luzhou High-Tech Industrial Park (a national-level high-tech zone), it is located in Luxian County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province. With a planned area of 21.3 square kilometers and designed by a leading domestic design team, it is a “pharmaceutical new city and health capital” characterized by forward-thinking concepts, unique advantages, comprehensive functions, and an eco-friendly, livable environment.
Leveraging Luzhou’s “three major industrial foundations,” the park will build “four major pharmaceutical industry development platforms.” It is committed to establishing itself as a demonstration zone for innovative development along the Yangtze River Economic Belt, a pioneer zone for the “interaction between industrialization and informatization” in the province, and the leading area for Luzhou’s transformation and development. The goal is to transform the park into a “10-billion-yuan pharmaceutical industry demonstration zone” in Sichuan, a national biopharmaceutical industry base, and the premier investment destination for the biopharmaceutical industry in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou-Chongqing region.
