The Dazhou Aerial Rail Industrial Park is set to become a key transportation hub and gateway for Dazhou’s future. It serves as a vital functional zone for the integration of industry, production, and urban development, connecting the north and south while linking the east and west. With a planned area of approximately 180 square kilometers, the park is positioned as a strategic stronghold for Sichuan’s eastward opening-up, a demonstration zone for economic development centered on the Northeast Sichuan aerial rail hub, and a cluster for headquarters-based economy.The park optimizes its spatial layout to form a “two axes, one belt, two cores, four zones, and multiple clusters” spatial development model. It is accelerating the construction of a “1+2+1” industrial system, focusing on developing leading industries with advanced manufacturing as the pillar, production-oriented and lifestyle services as the foundation, and transportation services as a distinctive feature. By 2035, the park aims to have a fully realized urban form, a permanent population of 300,000,with a regional GDP of 30 billion yuan, transforming the park into the “Chengdu-Chongqing Hub Economy Demonstration City, the Leading Zone for Coordinated Development in the Wan-Da-Kai Region, and the New Urban Center of Dazhou.”
