Negeri Sembilan (Malay: Negeri Sembilan) is one of the thirteen states of Malaysia, with its capital city, Seremban, located on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Negeri Sembilan means "nine states" in Malay.
Negeri Sembilan has an area of 6,656.47 square kilometers, a population of 1,171,100 (2017), and seven districts with a tropical rainforest climate.
The most important economic activities in Negeri Sembilan are services, manufacturing and agriculture, and the per capita GDP of Negeri Sembilan in 2016 was approximately 61,856 RMB (May 12, 2018 exchange rate).
