The Jintan Jincheng Science and Technology Industrial Park is located in the northern suburbs of Jintan District, bounded by the Danjinli Canal to the west and north, Liangchang Road to the south, and the boundary of Jintan District to the east, with a planned area of 37.55 square kilometers.The park currently houses more than 820 enterprises of various types. In 2019, the park generated industrial sales revenue of 24.1 billion yuan and general public budget revenue of 402 million yuan, having largely established an industrial development structure dominated by four pillar industries: “new chemical materials, equipment manufacturing, new energy vehicles, and next-generation mobile communications.”Currently, the Jinke Park area houses one Jiangsu provincial-level “New Materials Technology Industrial Park” with an approved area of 3.8 square kilometers. The park’s industrial focus is primarily on chemical new materials, biotechnology and new pharmaceuticals, and salt chemical industry and its derivative products (high-value-added products in the downstream industrial chain).
