To ensure that innovative projects can be successfully attracted and developed, the Industrial Research Institute has partnered with the Kunshan Development Zone to jointly build the 100,000-square-meter Kunshan Medical Imaging and Biomedical Device Industrial Park, with a focus on establishing a complete medical device industry chain spanning R&D, incubation, acceleration, and commercialization.By establishing public GMP facilities, setting up specialized funds, and forging partnerships with major research institutions, the initiative has successfully attracted listed company Yirui Bio and industry leader Bodong Medical to establish operations in Kunshan. More than 10 medical device companies within the park have entered the industrialization acceleration phase. The Kunshan Economic Development Zone-RIIT Medical Investment Fund, jointly established by the two parties, focuses on targeted investment in high-end medical device projects, providing much-needed support and momentum for the growth of medical device enterprises.
