Dinggou Town, belonging to Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the central part of Jiangdu District, bordering with Guocun Town in the east, Yiling Town in the south as far as the new Tongyang Canal, Dinghuo Town and Zhenwu Town in the west, and Fancheon Town and Xiaoji Town in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 102.32 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Dinggou Town had a household population of 62,032. In 1950, it belonged to Dinggou District. in 1985, it was abolished as a township and changed to a town. As of June 2020, Dinggou Town has 2 communities and 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed at Zhenxing South Road.
