Chebu Town, belonging to Chibi City, Xianning City, Hubei Province, is located in the northwestern part of Chibi City, 12 kilometers away from the city, is the southwest gateway of Chibi City, and is connected with Chima Harbor Street and Puqi Street to the east, neighboring with Cha'anling Town and Xindian Town in the south, Yujiaqiao Township in the west, and Badou Township of Jiayu County in the north, with an area of 144.6 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Chebu Town was 45,690. During the Song and Qing dynasties, it belonged to Shayang Township, Xixiang Township, and Chebu Regiment.In August 1984, the three townships of Chebu, Doumen, and Dalohu were merged and reorganized into Chebu Town.
