Yangcao Town, belongs to the city of Anda, Heilongjiang Province.Yangcao Town is located in the south of Anda City, neighboring Qingken Bubble Township in the east, bordering Zhaodong City in the south, connecting with Anda Animal Husbandry Farm in the west, and adjoining with Anda Town in the north. The administrative area of Yangcao Town is 270.48 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, Yangcao Town had a household population of 31,932. In the thirty-second year of Guangxu (1906), it belonged to Zhaozhou Hall. In the second year of the Republic of China (1914), it belonged to Zhaodong County. In the pseudo-manchu period, belongs to Zhaodong County four districts, then belongs to Xuanhua, Chengping 2 villages. In March, 1946, it belonged to the sixth district of Zhaodong County. In 1956, it was divided into Chengping and Nanlai townships, and Qinglongshan village was assigned to Democracy township. 1958, Chengping and Nanlai townships were merged with Qinglongshan village in Democracy township to form Hongwei commune. 1960, it was renamed as Nanlai commune. 1962, it was divided into Nanlai and Yangcaosu commune. 1984, Yangcaosu commune was changed into a township. 1985, March. In April 2001, Nanlai Township was merged into Yangcao Township.In October 2019, Yangcao Township has 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
