Dongning Town, belonging to Dongning City, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the east-central part of Dongning City, connected with Sanqokou Town in the east, neighboring with Dawichuan Town in the south, bordering with Daohe Town in the west, and adjoining Suiyang Town in the north, with an area of 487.47 square kilometers of administrative area, and a household population of 77,797 as of the end of 2019. In 1939, it was Dongning Street.In 1984, it was changed to Dongning Town. As of October 31, 2021, Dongning Town has 10 communities and 17 administrative villages; the town's people's government is located in Beiheyan Village, Dongning Town. As of the end of 2019, Dongning Town has 95 industrial enterprises, including 2 above-scale enterprises, and 25 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
