Zhouhe Township, belonging to Xinyang City, Xinyang County, Henan Province, is located in the eastern part of Xinxian County, neighboring Shawo Town in the east, Futianhe Town in Macheng City, Hubei Province in the southeast, Tianpu Township in the south, Xinjizhen Town in the west, and Bali Fanfan Town and Shawo Town in the north. The area is 110.93 square kilometers, with a household population of 13,315 as of the end of 2018.
From the Ming Dynasty to the middle of the Republic of China, it belonged to Wumali in Guangshan County. In October 1932, it was assigned to Shawo District, Jingfu County.In June 1962, the district was revoked and reset as Zhouhe Commune.In May 1983, it was changed to Zhouhe Township. As of June 2020, Zhouhe Township has 1 community and 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
