Weibin District, belonging to Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located in the southwestern part of Xinxiang City, between 113°78′-113°89′E longitude and 35°22′-35°32′N latitude, bordered by Wei River in the north and Muoye District of Xinxiang City, and bordered by the centerline from Shengli Road to Chemical Road to Heping Road in the east and Hongqi District of Xinxiang City in the west and south, bordered by the natural boundary of Pingyuan Town under the jurisdiction and Xinxiang County, with a total area of about 52 square kilometers. Adjacent to the west and south to the jurisdiction of the natural boundary of the town of plains adjacent to Xinxiang County, with a total area of about 52 square kilometers. Weibin District was originally part of Xinxiang County, and in December 1961, the former Xinhua District was restored, and in January 1968, the Xinhua District Revolutionary Committee was established, and in September 1980, the People's Government of Xinhua District was re-established, and on January 1, 2004, a new zoning adjustment program was formally put into effect, and the name of Xinhua District was changed to Weibin District. As of June 2020, Weibin District has 7 streets and 1 town under its jurisdiction, and the district people's government is located about 100 meters southwest of the intersection of Jianmin Yilan and Renminzhong Road.
In 2020, the gross regional product of Weibin District completed 30.13 billion yuan, the total amount of which ranked 4th in Xinxiang City; the general public budget revenue completed 300.75 million yuan, an increase of 1.8%. The proportion of one, two and three industries is adjusted to 1:33:66.
