Mazhuang Township, belonging to Xinji City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Xinji City, east and southeast of Hengshui City, Shenzhou City, South and Southwest of Wangkou Township, west of South Zhiqiu Township, northwest of Tianjiazhuang Township, north and northeast of the border with the town of Xincheng, the administrative region covers an area of 74.82 square kilometers.
At the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, the territory of Mazhuang Township belonged to Bound Deer County; in 1984, it was reorganized as Mazhuang Township; in 1996, one room township was incorporated. As of the end of 2018, Mazhuang Township had a household population of 25,460. As of June 2020, 21 administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Mazhuang Township, and the township people's government is located in Mazhuang Village.
