Lai Shui County, belongs to Hebei Province Baoding City, is located in the central west of Hebei Province, the north end of the east foot of the Taihang Mountains, the southeast for the refusal of the horse river alluvial plain, the northwest for the northeast section of the Taihang Mountains, tilted from northwest to southeast, the terrain is a long oblique strip, known as Lai Shui County "a line" of the name. East boundary Zhuozhou city, Gaobeidian city, south and Dingxing county, Yi county as neighbor, west and Laiyuan county, ZhuoLu county, Weixian county junction, north and Beijing Mentougou district, Fangshan district. The total area is 1,661.61 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Laixi County has 1 urban office, 12 towns and 3 townships under its jurisdiction; the county government is located in Laixi Township. As of the end of 2022, Laixi County had a resident population of 309,656. During the Sui Dynasty, it was renamed Gu'an County and Yongyang County. In the 18th year of Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (598), it was first called Laishui County. 1994, after the merger of Baoding prefecture and city, Laishui belonged to Baoding City. Laishui County belongs to the eastern monsoon warm-temperate semi-arid region, the four seasons are clear, dry and windy in the spring, hot and rainy in the summer, high and clear in the fall, and cold and less snow in the winter. There are national highway G108 Jingkun line, Lotus highway transit. The main cultural relics and monuments are Qinghua Temple Flower Pagoda, Xigang Pagoda, Huangfu Temple Pagoda, Prince Yixian's Tomb and so on. The main tourist attractions are Nosanpo Scenic Spot.In 2019, Laishui County was listed as the second batch of national agricultural product quality safety county. In 2022, Laixi County realized a GDP of 10.525 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%.On June 30, 2022, it was selected as one of the first batch of clean cities (districts) in 2022.
