Bono County, a county under the jurisdiction of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the central part of Hebei, east of the southern part of Baoding City, and at the northern end of the Heilonggang Basin. It borders Li County to the east, Anguo City to the west, Qingyuan District to the north, and Anping County and Raoyang County in Hengshui City to the south, with a total area of 331 square kilometers. As of October 2019, Bono County has seven towns under its jurisdiction. The county people's government is located in Bono Town.The resident population at the end of 2022 was 219,800.
In the first year of Benchu of the Eastern Han Dynasty (146), Liwu was analyzed to set up Boling County (the seat of which is in present-day Bono County), which belonged to Zhongshan State. In the first year of Jingming of the Northern Wei Dynasty (500), Bolu County was changed to Bono County. Ming Hongwu eight years (1375), from Bono County precipitated Li County. January 15, 1962, set up Bono County system. The whole area belongs to the plains of the eastern foothills of Taihangshan Mountain Range, and the slightly tilted plains area of the flood deposits is interlaced and deposited, narrow and long in the north and south, with the terrain in the north-central part of the area being high in the west and low in the east, and tilted in the southern part and southeastern part of the area being tilted from southwestern to northeastern part of the area. Warm temperate continental monsoon climate zone, four distinct seasons. The rivers in the area belong to the south branch of Daqing River in the Haihe River Basin. The Shuo Huang Railway, Jinshi Expressway, Quangang Expressway, Ding (Zhou) He (inter) Highway, and Baoheng Highway are in transit.
On September 29, 2018, the Hebei Provincial Government issued a notice formally approving the exit of Bono County from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
In 2022, the county's gross local product will realize 701,683,000 yuan, with 214,381,000 yuan in the primary industry, 151,095,000 yuan in the secondary industry and 370,610,000 yuan in the tertiary industry.
