Laohetou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Anxin County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, administered by Xiong'an New Area, is located 25 km southwest of Anxin County, bordering Luzhuang Township in the south, Qingyuan District in the west, Zhaili Township in the north, and Anzhou Town in the east. The jurisdiction has a maximum distance of 10.5 km from east to west and 6.75 km from north to south, with a total area of 60.9 square kilometers and a total household population of 45,257 (2018). Laohetou Town, named because the town government was originally located in Laohetou Village. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the War of Liberation, it belonged to the five districts of Anxin County, and Laohetou Village was traditionally the district township residence.In 1993, it was reset to Laohetou Town. As of October 2019, Laohetou Town has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed in Shenjiabiao Village. There is a provincial highway Baoxin Highway running east-west through the whole territory. In 2017, the number of enterprises in Laohetou Town totaled 270, with 8,965 people employed in the enterprises, including 157 industrial enterprises, 24 above scale.In 2018, there are 63 industrial enterprises in Laohetou Town, of which 24 are above scale, and 111 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
