Guliao Township, belonging to Binyang County, Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Binyang County, east of Wangling Township and Luhuwei Township, south of Luhuwei Township and Gantang Township, west of Zhonghua Township, and north of Daqiao Township and Wangling Township. In 1951, it belonged to the 4th district of Yongchun County, and in August 1952, Guliao Township was incorporated into the 4th and 12th districts of Binyang County, and in January 1958, it was set up as Guliao Township, and in September 1962, Guliao Commune was changed to Guliao District, and in September 1968, Guliao District was reorganized into Guliao Commune, and in August 1984, Guliao Commune was abolished and was reorganized into Guliao Township. 1993, Guliao Township was reorganized into Guliao Township. As of October 2021, the town of Guliao has 2 communities and 9 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The people's government of the town is located in the East New District of Guzhi Wei.
