Tong'an Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pingle County, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of the territory of Pingle County, connected to Huashan Township of Zhongshan County, Hezhou in the east and southeast, and to Yuantou Township in the south, connected to Yang'an Township in the southwest, and adjacent to Zhangjia Township and Yang'an Township in the west, and to Lotus Township of Gongcheng Yao Autonomous County in the north and northeast, with a total area of 137.15 square kilometers. In the Republic of China, Tong'an Township was established.In June 1984, the commune was abolished and renamed Tong'an Township. As of the end of 2019, Tong'an Town has a total population of 49,351, mostly Han Chinese, and Zhuang, Yao, Miao, Dong, Hui, Buyi, Mulao and other ethnic groups, with 1 community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in Tong'an Street.
