Laidian Town, belongs to Fujian Province, Putian City, Xianyou County, is located in the south-central Xianyou County, east and southeast of the two towns adjoining the Gaiwei, suburb of the tail, south of the town connected with the garden village, southwest and west respectively, and Quanzhou City, Luojiang District, Luo Xi Town, Xianyou County, Longhua Town town town border, northwest and north of the town of Linan connected. The administrative area is 80.08 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Laidian Township had a household population of 70,237. In September 1958, Laidian Commune was established.In December 1984, it was changed to a township.In November 1992, the township was changed to a town.
