Chunshu Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Xicheng District, Beijing, is located in the center of Xicheng District, between longitude 116°22′05″~116°22′43″ East and latitude 39°53′17″~39°53′55″ North. From South Xinhua Street in the east to the junction with Dajiejie Street, from Mule City Street in the south to the border with Taoranting Street, from Xuanwumenwai Street in the west to Guang'anmennei Street, and from Xuanwumen East Street in the north to Xichang'anjie Street across the road. The maximum distance between east and west of the area is 0.9 kilometers, and the maximum distance between north and south is 1.2 kilometers, with a total area of 1.1 square kilometers.
During the Liao Dynasty, the Tsubaki area was a deserted suburb. During the Jin Dynasty, it was part of Jiahui Fang. During the Yuan Dynasty, it was a village. During the Chongzhen period of the Ming Dynasty, it was part of Xuanbei Fang. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the northern part of the outer city. During the Xuantong period of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the first and second districts of the outer right. During the Republic of China period, it belonged to the outer second district. 1949, it belonged to the ninth district. 1950, it belonged to the sixth district. 1952, it belonged to the Qianmen district. 1954, it was built under the head street of Tsubaki. 1958, June, it was assigned to Xuanwu district. 1958, September, Tsubaki street was established as a pilot urban people's commune. 1962, September, Tsubaki street was restored. 2010, July, it belonged to Xicheng District.
