Daxing District, subordinate to Beijing Municipality, is located in the southern suburbs of Beijing Municipality, in the northeastern part of the North China Plain, connected with Fengtai and Chaoyang Districts in the north, separated from Yongding River in the west and Fangshan District in the west, adjoined with Tongzhou District in the east and bordered with Langfang and Zhuozhou Municipalities in Hebei Province in the south and southwest.
