Liucun Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Changping District, Beijing, is located in the western part of Changping District, between longitude 115°50′17″~116°06′34″ East and latitude 40°04′24″~40°15′46″ North. It is adjacent to Yangfang Township in the east, Haidian District and Mentougou District in the south, Huailai County in Hebei Province in the west and Yanqing District in the north. The town area is 269.36 square kilometers.
In 1948, the Liucun area belonged to Changwan County of Hebei Province. 1956, it was assigned to the third and sixth districts of Changping County. 1961. Liucun Commune was established.In 1983, it was changed to Liucun Township.In December 1997, Laoyugou Township, Gaoyakou Township and Liucun Township were abolished, and Liucun Township was merged to establish Liucun Town. As of the end of 2018, Liucun Town had a household population of 19,215. As of June 2020, Liucun Town has 28 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located in Xinbeizhuang Village, Liucun Town, Changping District.
In 2011, Liucun Township total revenue of 33.51 million yuan, an increase of 13.9% over the previous year. Realize tax 160 million yuan, basically the same as the previous year.
