Longwang Township, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the southern part of Funan County, neighboring Wanghua Township and Yuji Township in the east, Dicheng Township in the south, Gongqiao Township in the west, and Deucheng Township in the north. The area is 41.67 square kilometers, with a household population of 35,392 as of the end of 2019. Before liberation, it belonged to Yuji Township, Wanghua District, Fuyang County. After liberation, Longwang Township was set up and belonged to Gongqiao District.In September 1958, a commune was established.In March 1984, it was changed to a township.In April 1992, Longwang Township was re-established. As of June 2020, Longwang Township has 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2019, Longwang Township has 26 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 109 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
